Order Entry Associate - International Sales

Summary: The Order Entry Associate - International Sales is responsible for providing an excellent customer experience while managing the data entry and sales support duties for customer orders. Reporting to the International Sales Team Lead the Order Entry Associate - International Sales will work closely with sales team members and have interaction with multiple departments across the organization to provide customers with industry leading customer experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicate and interact daily with customers though telephone, email, fax, Price Guide Pro and other methods to provide industry leading customer experience.
  • Performs duties in two or more languages with the ability to communicate fluently with customers in a language other than English.
  • Perform data entry of customer orders into company order system.
  • Solve any order issues or questions in a timely fashion.
  • Create return merchandise authorizations following established company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to speak and write in either Spanish or French Canadian.
  • Accountable for accurate and on-time reporting of information essential for individual effectiveness.
  • Provide support to sales team by handling customer sales orders as needed.
  • Participate in seminars and other training as required.
  • Maintain an understanding of all product lines.
  • Must have knowledge of and comply with the policies and procedures contained in the Lane Automotive handbook.
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent GED. Related professional experience in the after-market auto industry. Proficiency with common software applications. Bilingual and ability to translate/interpret in English and Spanish or French Canadian.

Physical Demands:

This position requires a substantial amount of time in an office environment at a computer work station. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
