Customer Pick-Up Associate

Location: 8300 Lane Drive, Watervliet
Position Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Hourly - Competitive pay based on experience

Summary: Perform the Customer Pick-Up function by serving customers with prompt, courteous, and dependable service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Entails receiving, storing, pulling, and distributing material, equipment, and products from the warehouse
  • Use of I-Pod device to locate inventory
  • Prepare boxed and palletized orders for pickup
  • Assist Showroom Sales Associates by pulling, distributing, and customer carryout
  • Responsible for housekeeping of the customer pick-up area, including cleaning, organizing, dusting, sweeping, etc
  • Using proper lifting procedure, participates in the loading and unloading of customer vehicles using hand pallet carts and fork trucks
  • Assist with mounting and balancing of tires
  • Must have knowledge of and comply with the policies and procedures contained in the Lane Automotive handbook.
  • Other duties as assigned

High School diploma. Minimum of one year related experience. Ability to use common computer applications and company warehouse management system (WMS). Tire mounting and balancing experience a plus.

Certificates, License, Registration: 
Ability to be licensed as a powered industrial truck operator.

Physical Requirements:
The employee is frequently required to reach with arms and hands, stand, twist, bend, walk and sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Employee is frequently required to work extended time beyond an eight-hour shift/40-hour week including shift rotation and weekends.
